Urbanization in Georgia continues at a rapid pace, with more and more apartments being sold in the capital every year. A particular growth in sales is occurring in the suburbs. Along with demand, prices are also steadily increasing. The once less popular suburb, Gldani, in the northern part of Tbilisi, is now one of the most sought-after districts of the capital. This fact is not surprising, as the district has developed significantly in recent years and has practically become a city-within-a-city type urban settlement.

Consisting of 10 microdistricts (I-VIII, A and IIIa m/d), the population of Gldani exceeds 100,000, while the population of the district is 200,000. The district is divided into odd and even microdistricts by a 2.5-kilometer public strip, in which the main infrastructure facilities are located. It was developed in the 70s-80s of the last century. The ambitious project was prepared in 1968 by architect Temur Bochorishvili. In the past, settlements of this type were referred to as "sleeping areas" because it was believed that people returned to standard buildings only at night - to sleep. But a lot of time has passed since then, and Gldani has also acquired a new life - it is practically a city in the city.

The Akhmeteli Theater and its metro station are one of the main centers of daily life in the district. Citizens choose to buy an apartment in its vicinity, especially in the so-called odd microdistricts.

The construction company "Solum Development" offers a new project in the V district of Gldani, 10 minutes from the Akhmeteli metro station.
